Vice President, Apac Ip Services/automation/tooling

**Your background**

Coming from a technical background, you will have a deep understanding of load-balancing and DDI, tooling and automation related (Monitoring, Reporting) technologies and how they are designed, deployed and supported. You appreciate the fundamental importance of IP Services infrastructure and the reliance all elements of technology within the bank have on it.

You enjoy working on multiple streams of work with competing priorities and building relationships with line of business representatives socializing the great work the team is doing on their behalf.

You have a drive for getting things done, some may say an impatience, and are known for leaving nothing to chance - spotting unknown dependencies and proactively circumventing issues before they arise.

You will have led teams previously and enjoy contributing to the team’s development and success. You appreciate the need for reporting but will do anything to ensure it’s as automated and as burden-free on the team as possible.

And finally, you enjoy the challenging rigors of working in a highly regulated environment and helping out your peers - not being phased if asked to lead our Operations or Project Management teams for a short period.

**Your experience**
- Minimum 10 years of experience required (less if you are a superstar)
- Extensive experience in network IP Services security technologies including DNS, DHCP, IPAM and Load Balancer technologies., Automation, Tooling
- Strong knowledge of networking communication principles, network standards, and network security practices.
- Capability to summarize complex issues into executive summaries.
- Strong business partnership skills - Able to build broad-based business relationships across the organization and positively influence colleagues.
- Familiar with product deployments within a global banking environment.
- Willing to work some irregular hours based on the needs of global operating model and the location of clients
- Strong analytical skills with ability to identify gaps, challenge others with positive intent, and drive debate towards identification and remediation of underlying risks.
- Knowledge of regulatory risk management in Technology and Information Security domains.
- Unhappy with laborious manual processes and procedures, always looking for opportunities to drive efficiencies.

**What you can expect**

The APAC Network IP Services team is responsible for the end-to-end engineering and deployment of load-balancing and DDI network infrastructure within Bank of America.

You will be responsible for executing on the global strategy and accountable for providing end-to-end network IP Services infrastructure solutions for internal clients, lines of business and external 3rd parties.

You will lead a team of 8 - 10 IP Services engineers, with a focus on team development and providing guidance on how to more efficiently meet delivery targets as well as providing executive level updates to our regional CTO/CIOs.

You will lead a team of 2-3 Automation-Tooling Engineer with a focus on automating deployment, also deploy tools to provide reports to auditors, Vulnerability remediation and reporting or any other scope to improve team efficiency and reduce manual tasks.
