Structural / Foundations Engineer

We have an exciting opportunity for a **Structural / Foundations Engineer **to join our established and growing engineering team.

**The role.
Working as part of the Longitude Engineering team in Singapore and reporting to the Lead Structural Engineer, your primary task will be to provide technical input and leadership on a range of projects, most notably the design and analysis of jacket-type WTG and OSS substructures and conventional jacket structures for conventional markets.

You may also be involved with technical due diligence (TDD) projects, and support on other design / analysis / consultancy projects within the marine and offshore infrastructure and energy segments.

You will be responsible to execute design and analysis work personally, and to provide technical guidance, supervision, and quality control for your colleagues within Longitude and across the broader ABL Group. It’ll be your goal to accomplish the overall delivery of optimum solutions to customers on time, within budget, conforming to applicable codes, standards, and client requirements, and to meet and exceed our client’s expectations.

Local and international travel may occasionally be required. It is anticipated that travel will be around 5-10% of the working time.

**Qualifications and Experience Required.
We are looking for a driven and solution oriented professional with experience as technical lead or assistant technical lead executing pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design of WTG jacket substructures and OSS jacket substructures, including:

- design of primary steel structures under ultimate, fatigue, and serviceability limit state conditions,
- design of pile-sleeve grouted connections,
- design of transition pieces,
- coordination with WTG load assessment and geotechnical teams, and
- liaison with certification bodies.
- have a degree [preferably advanced] in civil, structural or mechanical engineering
- be proficient in SACS and/or SESAM
