**About the Role**:
You will be responsible for the day-to-day legal affairs arising from Gotion Singapore’s growing operations. This will include a wide array of corporate, commercial and compliance-related matters.

You will contribute to stabilizing the internal legal practice as well as the expansion of legal and transactional support to Gotion Singapore’s energy storage and battery businesses. Engaged in commercial contracts spans group’s subsidiaries, joint ventures (JV) partners, operating partners across India, Vietnam, Thailand, Indonesia, Japan, etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide legal guidance, identify legal risks, and handle a wide range of corporate legal matters to support business to trade lawfully.
- Review, draft and negotiate contractual arrangements and legal documents (e.g. purchase agreements, distribution agreements, non-disclosure agreements, etc).
- Work closely with business teams to provide legal advice on issues (e.g. tax, finance/accounting, employment, corporate and commercial) together with resolution plans.
- Provide ongoing legal support, including conducting third party vendor screenings, contract reviews, and policy formulation etc.
- Draft and publish internal legal policies as well as standard operating procedure (SOP) documenting the tasks, processes and workflows.
- As needed, support stakeholders on special projects and legal operations matters.

**Skills and Qualifications**:

- A Law degree from a recognized University.
- Preferably 3-5 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) in a law firm and/or in-house role with a reputable company.
- Strong analytical skills, well-organized with an ethical mindset.
- Able to engage confidently and effectively with stakeholders across expertise and cultures.
- Comfortable to work both independently and as part of a team.
