**JOB PURPOSE**:
The prime of the role is to lead a team to supply technical support to the NT and LAN / WAN technologies deployed throughout the organization, ensuring that the basic day to day functionality of these systems are maintained and future developments observe the Corporate Standards.

The role also takes into account the systems implementation within the Asia Pacific Distribution Centre, focusing on the integration of the automation hardware and software elements with the WMS, etc.

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
Additional duties will include first and second line support to the Asia Pacific user community, to augment the support activities of the Asia MIS Helpdesk.

You would have a comprehensive knowledge of IT and in understanding system deployment, problem determination, and resolution strategies.

The role is suitable for an experienced Support Analyst looking to forward their career in IT; offering scope for specialization and career progression.

**JOB CONTENT (PRIMARY & SECONDARY FUNCTIONS)**:

- To lead a team to provide second line of support for the core network and IT systems deployed in Future Electronics Asia Pacific arena.
- Ensure the maintenance and support of the IT systems deployed in the Asia Pacific Distribution Centre which will include but not be limited to the WMS and Tandem systems; to ensure a continuity of service.
- Control the use of network security, which will include but not limited to Anti-Virus, Internet, Firewall and VPN system areas.
- To be the prime in the deployment of and adherence to, Corporate IT systems and policies.
- To proactively monitor and maintain the Future Electronics Wide Area Network and Local Area Networks.
- To produce and maintain systems documentation for both the Technical and Support teams.
- Ascertain the required specifications of a Disaster Recovery Control plan including but not limited to maintenance of DRP and back-up policy.
- To augment the support activities of the Asia Pacific Helpdesk.
- Manage IT projects which include planning, scheduling, coordinating and implementing.
- Additional projects or duties as the management at times may require.

**CREDENTIALS**:
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree or Diploma in IT or related studies. Preferably with CCNP and MCSE Certification.

**_COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Attitudes)_**
- Extensive understanding of Microsoft core technologies, in particular NT as well as TCP / IP, Fast Ethernet and Networking technologies.
- Fully qualified in either Microsoft Professional Qualifications or CISCO Professional Qualifications.
- Has a comprehensive knowledge and experience of Microsoft Active Directory and Exchange Technologies.
- Fully au fait with network security management principles and protection.
- Able to manage several projects at any given time.
- To be a self-starter and focus on the end result. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

**Salary**: $7,000.00 - $8,000.00 per month
