DESCRIPTION

The Group Tax Team ensures compliance with tax laws and regulations and optimizes responsible tax planning. We are an Asian conglomerate with diverse interests (including Maritime, Agrisolutions, Real Estate and Digital Infrastructure) and a global footprint.

Planning
- Business partner to the commercial teams in relation to international tax advisory, planning and governance
- Partner with business leaders and corporate functions to lead the implementation of tax strategies
- Review, roll out and enforce robust tax and transfer pricing policies
- Monitor and analyse new rules and legislations; assess and communicate impact to the business

Compliance and governance
- Perform regular tax health checks to improve compliance and efficiencies
- Monitor and support tax compliance e.g. review tax returns, transfer pricing requirements and Country by country reporting
- Attend to tax audits
- Execute tax policy, compliance and documentation

**REQUIREMENTS**:
Preferred Experience:

- Minimum 8 years of tax experience
- Experience in Big four accounting firm /MNC & in cross border transactions are added advantage
- Proven ability to lead and manage projects in a fast-paced, changing environment with tight deadlines
- Excellent communication & interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently
