TikTok is seeking a tax business partner with a strong background in managing Singapore direct and indirect tax compliance. Focus of this role will nevertheless be on tax advisory for Singapore.

**PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Assist in data preparation and collation for tax filings, tax audits and litigations;
- Work with external tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate tax returns and GST returns for Singapore;
- Assist in filing of Singapore withholding tax returns;
- Provide oversight for direct and indirect tax compliance for Singapore entities;
- Support HQ tax reporting requirements and provide guidance for tax accounting;
- Work with other finance teams for implementation of financial systems or to improve end-to-end tax compliance procedures to mitigate risks and improve efficiency;
- Research on tax legislation changes and to evaluate the implication to the company and ultimately operationalize such changes;
- Assist and provide tax support and guidance for any adhoc projects or queries from business teams.

**Qualifications**:

- 5+ years of Singapore and SEA region direct and indirect tax experience in a large MNC and/or a CPA firm;
- Bachelor degree in accounting, taxation or equivalent;
- TMT industry working experience is preferred, experience in Malaysia tax is a plus;
- Experience in using any ERP systems for data collation;
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
- Ability to clearly communicate tax technical issues to non-tax professionals
