**What the role is**
- You will be the go-to expert for insights on the dynamic state of security in the intricate realm of our defence agencies and industries.

**What you will be working on**
- You will be analysing trends and developments that could potentially impact the security of the defence agencies and industries. Through your research and analysis, you will need to flag out issues of concern promptly for early warning and provide critical insights to higher management to guide decision-making and support security policy formulation when required.

**What we are looking for**
- You should have a tertiary education in any discipline. You must have good written and verbal communication skills, as well as analytical skills to be able to package large quantities of data in a clear and succinct manner to suit your stakeholders' needs. You should possess good interpersonal skills, be a team player and able to work independently. You must also be able to cope with the high work demands in a fast-paced environment.

**About**Military Security Department**
- The Military Security Department (MSD)’s core business is in Counter Intelligence and internal security for MINDEF/SAF. MSD was formed in 1975 to counter the threats of espionage, subversion and sabotage against MINDEF/SAF. It began with two main entities, namely the Counter Intelligence Branch (CIB) and Field Security Branch (FSB). Over the years, the department has continued to evolve and our roles expanded in tandem with the changing security environment. Today, our roles also include Counter Terrorism and Cyber Security.
