As an Industry Analyst specializing in IT Security, you will be responsible for researching and analyzing industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes within the IT security and services sector. Your insights will inform product development, strategic planning, and client engagement. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our solutions meet market demands and address emerging threats.

**Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, the following**:

- **Market Research and Analysis**:Conduct comprehensive research on IT security trends, technologies, and market developments. Analyze data to identify emerging threats, opportunities, and competitive intelligence.
- **Reporting and Documentation**:Develop detailed reports, whitepapers, and presentations on industry trends, market forecasts, and competitive analysis. Provide actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders.
- **Strategic Planning**:Collaborate with product management and development teams to align our security solutions with market needs. Support the development of strategic roadmaps and product/service go to market.
- **Competitive Analysis**:Monitor and evaluate competitor activities, product offerings, and market positioning. Identify gaps and opportunities for differentiation.
- **Thought Leadership**:Contribute to thought leadership initiatives, including blog posts, webinars, and industry conferences. Represent [Your Company Name] as an expert in IT security.
- **Cross-Functional Collaboration**:Work closely with marketing, sales, and analyst teams to ensure alignment on market needs and product strategy.
- Author research, advisory and content marketing documents
- Perform MarketScape reports (vendor comparisons)
- Engage the client/prospect once a week
- Support all CIS renewals in the quarter
- Support business development for any consulting/CIS
- Speak at client events, industry events and facilitate round tables/panel discussions
- Perform advisory to senior leadership teams from security vendors/services providersSupport planning and P&L activities

**Requirements**:

- Has excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Delivering presentations to external clients.
- Is well-connected in the technology industry.
- Able to connect well with directors/VP executives across APAC region.
- Has worked in a multi-cultural environment.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively.
- Able to work with tight timelines and multi-task/manage projects.
- Able to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and client expectations.
