**Job Brief**

As the Head of Operations, you will oversee the daily operations of the company. You will be responsible for overseeing customer service, and developing the efficient processes to achieve this goal. This requires the intersection of empathy to understand the team and customers, with resourcefulness and an analytical mindset to discover gaps and find solutions.

Some additional characteristics:

- Take initiative, growing a team, gain satisfaction from designing efficient processes and seeing customers happy.
- Adopt a curious and investigative approach when issues crop up, combing through details to identify the root causes and finding solutions to plug the gaps
- Versatile enough to adapt processes quickly when circumstances change, or to know when to make exceptions for service recovery

You will be supported with IT. Take initiative, grow the team, walk through the customer journey and suggest areas of improvement. Then create processes that will serve these goals.

Simultaneously, lead and manage the day to day operations of the company, developing processes and systems to create a seamless customer experience.

**Responsibilities**
- Formulate business strategy with others in the executive team
- Design policies that align with overall strategy
- Ensure compliance with laws (e.g data protection, keep up to date with regulations in the training landscape)
- Implement efficient processes and uphold customer service standards
- Coordinate customer service operations and find ways to ensure customer retention
- Manage contracts and relations with customers, vendors, partners and other stakeholders
- Oversee the logistics of our training centre
- Work with finance to oversee expense and budgeting for operations
- Oversee the implementation of technology solutions relating to operations
- Mentor and motivate teams to achieve productivity and engagement
- Report on operational performance and suggest improvements
- Enhance the customer experience

**Requirements and skills**
- Experience with management or similar leadership role
- Experience with implementing IT systems
- Experience in the hospitality industry will be advantageous
- Outstanding communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent organisational and leadership ability
- Analytical mind
- Problem-solving aptitude

**Salary**: $4,000.00 - $6,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
