[What the role is]
The Senior Head or Head (Technology Development) is a pivotal role responsible for identifying and spearheading development projects within key technology domains to augment ITE's technological capabilities. This role presents an exciting opportunity to lead and shape technological advancements within ITE's Technology Development Centre making a substantial impact on both academic and industrial landscapes.
[What you will be working on]
- Identify and lead the development of strategic projects within targeted technology domains to bolster the organization's technological prowess.
- Serve as a mentor and professional leader, guiding academic staff and project teams in addressing technical challenges and successfully executing industry and development projects.
- Introduce innovative technologies to enhance industry partners' capabilities, playing a vital role in the execution of projects and the establishment of state-of-the-art laboratory facilities.
- Focus on Automation, Info-Comm, Biochemistry, Material, and Semiconductor industries to drive technological advancements and contribute to the growth of ITE.
- Managing various programs for the organization, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational objectives.
[What we are looking for]
- Suitable credentials in relevant fields, with a minimum of 10 years of professional work experience.
- A broad and strong industry network, enabling engagement and support across various industries, is highly desirable.
- Previous experience in formulating research proposals and managing research projects within Automation, Info-Comm, Material, or Semiconductor industries is a significant advantage.
- Exceptional team player with strong communication and presentation skills, capable of working both collaboratively and independently.
