Accountant/assistant Finance Manager

We are looking for an Assistant Finance Manager/Accountant to join our Finance team in Challenger Technologies Limited
Duties
- Handle monthly closing and responsible for day-to-day accounting transactions.
- Maintaining the full accounting books for the company and subsidiaries including overseeing the general accounting functions such as fixed assets management, inter-company charging and reporting, reconciliation of general ledgers, preparing the statutory accounts in accordance to SFRS.
- Handle petty cash reimbursements.
- Handle tax matters which would include the quarterly GST filing as well as corporate tax
- Liaise with auditors on all audit related matters and prepare the necessary schedules
- Ensure compliance with SGX listing rules and all laws and guidelines.
- Ensure policies and procedures are adhered to, financial controls are in place and to improve internal control procedures where necessary
- Perform any ad-hoc accounting / financial tasks as may be assigned
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Accountancy/Finance
- Minimum 6 years of audit/accounting experience
- Good knowledge of Singapore Financial Reporting Standards, corporate tax and GST
- Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office
- Possess problem-solving skills with a positive attitude
- A good team player
