Singapore Epworth Community Services Full time

**Job scope**:

- Support the Finance Manager in monthly closing and timely reporting.
- Review the Accounts Receivables and Accounts Payables to ensure accuracy of entries.
- Assist with Donation, review of quarterly GST returns and yearly tax filing to IRAS.
- Issuance of Tax exemption receipt for donations.
- Manage relevant government grants, funding, utilisation of grants, cost allocation and prepare necessary financial reports to relevant stakeholders within the stipulated timeline.
- Assist Finance Manager with budget, partner with departments on manpower and cost allocations.
- Be involved in capital grants, FRS116 and Fixed Assets.
- Tracking and monitoring of capital expenditure against budget.
- Perform physical asset verification work with Senior Accounts Executive.
- Assist in the implementation and upgrading of current accounting software to ERP.
- Be responsible for both internal and external audits, and updating of the Finance SOP.
- Oversee the implementation of Finance requirements for Student Care Centre and Literacy Department’s IT system.
- Deputise the Finance Manager to ensure continuity of the Finance department.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in accounting or ACCA from a recognised university.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial and management accounting background, preferably in the Social Service industry.
- Good team player and positive working attitude
- Meticulous and willing to learn
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Working knowledge of MYOB software is preferred
- Hybrid working arrangement
- Location: Near Bukit Batok MRT
