Singapore Down Syndrome Association (Singapore) Full time

**Key Responsibilities and Duties**
- To plan, organise, coordinate and conduct Family Support Group (FSG) meetings for persons with Down syndrome and their family members.
- To coordinate training sessions and workshops for parents/caregivers.
- To manage the establishment and maintenance of the DSA Resource & Information Centre which includes the DSA library of books/publications on Down syndrome, videos, CD-ROMs, journals and educational resources.
- Leverage on community support / resources such as community funds to enable access to financially disadvantaged families of persons with Down syndrome in need of support.
- To advise and refer parents of persons with Down syndrome on matters relating to education, training and other support needs.
- To participate in intake, withdrawal, discharge and referral of clients in DSA's services and programmes.
- To advocate for members with Down syndrome through public awareness initiatives & other appropriate venues.
- To assist in organising public education and awareness initiatives such as seminars, workshops and talks.
- To perform all administrative duties pertaining to work such as report writing, minutes and correspondence and to submit outcome indicators data to relevant authorities.
- To consolidate monthly reports as designated by superiors.
- Counsel clients upon attaining requisite qualification.
- To participate in research projects conducted by DSA.
- To keep updated with the Singapore social service guidelines and policies.
- To implement any other tasks assigned by the Assistant Director (Services) and the Executive Director.

**Preferred Requirements**
- Degree/Diploma of related field
- At least 2 years of relevant experience
- Able to handle professional business correspondence and family member
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Good interpersonal, written and verbal skills

**Working Days/Hours**
- Monday-Friday, 8.30am-6.00pm
