**Job Purpose Statement**

This individual is responsible for business analysis, effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams, and inventory management to support sales growth and customer experience. The Senior Allocator will drive sales, margin and inventory turn in close partnership with cross-functional partners and through operational excellence.

**Role Responsibilities (“Do”)**

The Senior Allocator is **responsible **for:

- Work with cross functional teams for strategy alignment and prompt action to optimize the allocation plan
- Create effective working relationships with key retail partners, providing solutions in a concise and accurate format regarding stock availability issues.
- Communicate with Retail operations on replenishment adjustments, consolidation strategies and inventory concerns, to optimize sales opportunities
- Partner with planning team, provide inventory analysis to facilitate promotion discussion and alignment with Retail operations
- Coach and mentor retail allocators, provide strategic directions to max sales opportunities, deliver category sales and inventory turnover performance to plans - seasonality, holiday peaks, promotions
- Provide feedback on allocation, store level performance and opportunities
- Develop knowledge of geographic and store attribute performance and trends through data analysis and field feedback
- Review and recommend process enhancement
- Participate in business process and cross functional projects
