Reporting to the General Manager of Singapore Branch and assist the General Manager in ensuring the prudent and professional management of the Branch’s operations to ensure the financial soundness of the branch and its compliance with approved policies as well as applicable laws and regulations.

**Responsibilities**:
Assist the General Manager in the overall management of the Branch with responsibilities including but not limited to the following:

- Ensuring that all risks are properly monitored and evaluated
- Ensuring that transactions are executed according to established policies and procedures
- Complying with regulatory requirements
- Maintaining adequate accounting and internal control systems
- Safeguarding of the Branch’s assets

**Requirements**:

- Possess Master Degree in Economics, Finance or its equivalent
- At least 20 years of relevant working experience in the Banking industry including at least 10 years of experience in leading & managing Departments at Management/Executive level with strong people management skill.
- Excellent interpersonal skill with proficiency in both spoken and written Chinese as incumbent, as required to correspond with Chinese clients, colleagues in Head Office and handle Chinese documentation and reports.
- Good understanding of the relevant laws, regulations and practices pertaining to Banking Industry and ensuring it’s compliance.
- Possess strong leadership, problem solving, planning and management skills, with the ability to manage departments or branch effectively driving business strategies whilst ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
