**Title**: IT Deputy General Manager

**Position level**: Deputy General Manager

**Role**: Permanent

**Working days**:Mondays to Fridays

**Working hours**:9:00am to 5.30pm

**Salary**: SGD$ 7,000 to SGD$ 14,000 depending on experience

**Job duty office add**: 1 HarbourFront Place, #14-01 HarbourFront Tower One, Singapore 098633

Must be able to travel to subsidiary offices in Singapore and in various Asian countries including head office in Japan.

**Your duties essential for the job**:

- Develop high-level road map and project plans that merge customer requirements with company goals, so that staff can elaborate the detail action plans
- To work and coordinate with managers, technical personnel and external parties during all project phases, from initial development through implementation
- To keep track and monitor project progression and make detailed scheduled reports on measurable items such as milestones and deliverables
- Able to communicate proactively with all concerned parties to provide encouragement, identify problems, create solutions and implement efficient improvements.
- Analyze economics of project plans and provide actionable feedback relating to cost benefit and Return-on-Investment standards
- Review proposed modifications on project plans, including meeting with interested parties to approve and implement beneficial changes
- Oversee acquisition of resources and materials as needed before and during projects by talking to customers, team members, managers, and in-house accountants, and negotiating price and payment agreements with vendors
- Capable to anticipate future projects by communicating directly with customers, and staying updated on relevant trends and industry news
- To provide consultancy services by analyzing customer requirements and providing quality and cost-effective solutions to produce high quality bid proposal to customers
- To work closely with accounting team to ensure accurate and efficient monthly billing for timely update to BS/PL
- Fluent communication skills in both English and Japanese to engage with key stakeholders.
- Ability to interact with customers to identify and analyze their business process challenges and offer practical solutions.

**Basic requirements**:

- Over 12 years in the IT sector, with proven leadership in team management and successful project delivery.
- Strong project management and leadership skills, including the ability to lead teams and manage projects effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, capable of explaining technical issues and collaborating with team members and management.
- Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and resolving issues during project execution.
- Effective organization, time management, resource planning, and scheduling to keep projects on track.
- Experience or knowledge in the shipping and logistics industries is advantageous.
- Possess a minimum JPLT N1 cert in Japanese language to be able to report (both verbally and in writing) on project situation to the stakeholders or make presentation to existing/potential customers.
- Strong ability to learn new technologies and processes, stay current with technical skills, and adapt to changes.
- Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task, manage time effectively, and work well under pressure with a positive attitude.
