
Homecare Programme Manager

**Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%):
- Assist CEO in strategic planning, co-ordination and implementation of Community Homecare programmes and policies so as to enhance the overall well-being and quality of life of elderly clients.
- Develop and maintain the Programme’s organisation and administration.
- Work closely with government agencies and external vendors to ensure smooth operations.
- Plan, implement, supervise and evaluate the Programme’s operations and programmes to meet the elderly needs of home personal care, interim caregiving, home medical and home nursing services.
- Engage caregivers and maintain a close working relationship to enhance the overall effectiveness of the programmes.
- Identify staff developmental needs and provide direction and guidance on their performance and conduct.
**Secondary Responsibilities and Duties (80%):
- Train and supervise healthcare staff and support staff.
- Meet with external agencies.
- Plan and conduct outreach programs.
- Review of programme standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure compliance with MOH service requirements for non-residential ILTC services.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the Chief Executive Officer.
**JOB REQUIREMENT**
- Degree/Diploma in Nursing/Therapy/Social Work or other relevant fields.
- Minimum 3-5 years’ experience in healthcare management.
- Preferably have working experience with Ministry of Health and other relevant stakeholders in the healthcare industry.
- Experience working in geriatrics and with elderly in the community preferred.
- Experience working with dementia clients or social work an advantage.
- Active team player with strong initiative and good communication skills.
- Able to conduct training and basic coaching for staff.
- Good managerial and leadership skills.
- Independent, resourceful and able to perform under pressure.
- Willing to travel.
