**About the Role**:
As a CBRE People Business Partner Director, you will assist with the management of the region responsible for employee Human Relations.
This job is part of the People Strategy and Operations function. They are responsible for the design, execution, and monitoring of human resource programs and policies.
**What You’ll Do**:
This critical leadership role partners Senior Leadership team across APAC to shape and execute a transformative people strategy that fuels business growth and drives exceptional organizational performance. You will be a key advisor, coach, and influencer, directly impacting strategic decision-making and fostering a high-performing, inclusive culture. The role reports into the Vice President of People located in the US.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership team, providing strategic counsel on all people-related matters and influencing key divisional decisions.
- Lead the APAC Talent Management activities, with a focus on proactive talent placement and robust succession planning for leadership and other critical roles. Identify, develop, and retain top talent to ensure a strong leadership pipeline.
- Champion the adoption of the GWS Enterprise People Function operating model, driving change and ensuring seamless integration across the region and globally.
- Lead and develop a high-performing People Team across the APAC Enterprise business, providing mentorship, coaching, and development opportunities to maximize their impact.
- Drive a culture of excellence, aligned with the GWS Enterprise Business Model, that fosters employee engagement, high performance, and a commitment to our values. Drive initiatives that promote Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Partner with business leaders and the sales team to provide strategic HR support for RFPs and client pitches, showcasing our people and our services as a key differentiator.
- Equip managers with the tools and skills to effectively manage employee performance, address performance gaps, and create development plans that drive growth.
- Oversee and shape initiatives related to compensation and benefits, learning and development pathways, wellbeing programs, and performance management systems to attract, retain, and motivate top talent.
- Lead and manage organizational change initiatives across the region, ensuring smooth transitions and minimizing disruption.
- Advise management on reductions in headcount and other business scenarios, ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Implement best-demonstrated HR practices.
- Proactively identify and solve complex operational and organizational challenges, leveraging internal and external resources. Continuously improve existing methods, processes, and standards within the HR discipline.

**What You’ll Need**:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred with 8-12 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Experience in the areas of staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, employee relations and rewarding performance and retention is required.
- Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations, and handle complex problems.
- Leadership skills to set, manage and achieve targets with a direct impact on multiple departments results within a function.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Expert organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mindset.
- Financial acumen to include basic understanding of accounting and corporate finance terms and practices
