**BeUnicorn **is a private equity fund with a mandate to invest in pre-IPO projects for a 3 to 5 year investment holding period. We partner with an ecosystem of capital market service providers to unlock inorganic growth of Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs). We focus on : (i) curating pre-IPO opportunities for equity investments at an attractive discount to IPO valuation of these SME businesses, (ii) strategizing merger & acquisition (M&A) growth for 3-5 year exit, and (iii) facilitate pre-IPO debt financing at a competitive returns/spread.

**Responsibilities**:

- Identify, hunt, secure and manage the relationships of High Net Worth Individuals/Ultra High Net Worth Individuals. Family Office and/or Institutional Investor clients so as to contribute towards AUM portfolio growth.
- Through existing personal contacts and network and while building an suitably qualified network of potential clients and partners, present a compelling “story” to investors to win over their capital so as to achieve fundraising targets.
- Highest degree of professionalism and ability to develop trust and rapport with key decision-makers of family offices, fund houses and other institutional investors.
- Provide excellent client service, anticipating stakeholder needs and far exceeding client expectations with effective engagement of all potential investors.
- Has a clear strategy for fundraising to develop and execute strategies with a proactive approach to devise and implement fundraising/investor relations plans for the company to ensure AUM growth.
- Responsible for all fundraising goals and targets.
- Actively source, outreach, contact and build relationships with potential leads and future investors with strong pipeline. Close tracking of all potential investors, pipeline development and effective closing.
- Prepare all fund marketing collaterals including but not limited to IMs, PPMs and pitch decks.
- Regular reporting to Management through issuance of management reporting, weekly reports, investor reports etc as part of performance monitoring and management for the purpose of accountability towards internal stakeholders and external investors.
- Support all aspects of M&A activities including market intelligence, sourcing, target research, competitive analysis, financial modelling, due diligence and closing.
- Represent the company at industry events and conferences and regularly attend industry events and investor conferences for business development and to meet with prospective investors.

**Requirements**:

- University degree holder in finance, economics or related discipline.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience within financial services with experience in sell-side.
- Proven track record in capital raising/fundraising is a MUST.
- Strong investor networks e.g. family offices, HNWIs, institutional investors, fund houses, etc
- Strong professional ethics and represent strong values across integrity, excellence, collaboration and respect.
- Self-motivated, tenacious and resilient with the ability to work independently and thrives on far exceeding fundraising targets.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to interact and liaise with different stakeholders.
- Excellent written and communication skills that can transcend language and cultural barriers. Highly proficient in Mandarin and English, specifically in writing and presentation.
- Knowledge of financial modelling, with a good understanding of Corporate Finance.
- Able to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced and start-up environment.
