Position Summary
We're seeking an energetic, proactive Sales Specialist with a hunter mindset to join our dynamic team to expand our Scientific Equipment business.
This individual will be driving our revenue and market growth of our scientific products and solutions. If you're someone who has the technical background and loves meeting new people, establishing strong relationships, and consistently outperforms sales targets, this opportunity could be an exciting career path. **Responsibilities**
- Undertake and perform sales & marketing activities to achieve business objectives.
- Manage business development and strategic positioning for products and services.
- Liaise with suppliers and customers to address inquiries and opportunities.
- Dedicate 80% of your time to meeting customers and understanding of the market trends and needs.
- Perform other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
- Technical sale knowledge of Surface Science analytical tools and Failure Analysis technique, such as Atomic Force Microscopy, Raman Spectroscopy and Scanning Electron Microscopy etc. will have an added advantage.
**To be Successful in This Role, You Will Need**
- A Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Engineering Science, Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering related disciplines.
- An independent and proactive mindset. This is a hunter role than a farmer role.
- A genuine passion for meeting new people and building strong relationships.
- Resourceful and have the ability to exceed targets and perform under pressure.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to performance task independently.
