**Responsibilities:
- Hardware design for gas meters including verification.
- Perform product validation test and work cross functionally with other development groups.
- Generate design documents, schematic capturing, designing board layout and conduct various measurements to meet product requirements.
- Various safety and reliability compliance testing.
- Problem solving and ensure project completion according to schedule.
- Liaising with production for knowledge transfer and support technical difficulties.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum Degree in Electrical / Electronic Engineering.
- Self-starter and team player.
- Excellent technical communication skills.
- Excellent organization and documentation abilities.
- Prepared for infrequent attachment overseas for several weeks at a time.
- Any of the following experiences will be advantageous:

- Embedded systems and high-speed digital hardware circuit design.
- ARM (v5, v7m and above) and/or MSP430 designs.
- Safety and reliability compliance/debugging.
- Circuit simulators, signal integrity tools and/or 2D/3D RF tools.
- Precision Instrumentation circuit design.
- Proficient in circuit simulators, signal integrity tools.
- Code device drivers and test procedures for hardware designed.
- Completed Product Life Cycle from design to manufacturing.
- Trained product development methodologies/practices.
- Understanding of low power (battery powered) design essential.
