Overview As an Engineer, R&D (Electronics Hardware), you will drive innovation and contribute to the development of next-generation, advanced complex systems. Responsibilities Innovate and create value for the next generation of advanced complex systems Develop and design electronics architecture, circuits and systems to meet product specifications Brainstorm and contribute out-of-the-box solutions to create value for the business and customers Conduct system analysis to achieve optimized design solutions that meet design specifications, project schedule and cost targets Ensure designs meet all regulatory requirements Participate in technical discussions and present design solutions to customers Coordinate fabrication, assembly and validation of prototypes to ensure compliance with specifications Author specifications, requirements and validation plans for assigned design modules Work with the Manufacturing team and suppliers throughout the product cycle in a fast-paced environment Development and design opportunities in one or more areas: embedded micro-processor system design; IO standards and protocols (USB, IR, LAN, Bluetooth, etc.); analog sensing technologies and signal conditioning Perform other duties as assigned by the Company Qualifications Master's/Degree in Electronics/Electrical Engineering Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience Experience in embedded microprocessor system design, power management electronics and small-signal analog design Knowledge of PC architecture, high-speed IO buses (e.g., DDR, FSB, PCI-X), signal integrity techniques and high-speed hardware design Good understanding of product safety, environmental testing and EMC is advantageous Strong knowledge of electronics fundamentals and principles Good team player with a strong passion for product design Experience in medical product compliance standards such as ISO13485 is an added advantage Simulation tools & programming skills (e.g., PSpice, Python) are an added advantage Overseas travel may be required Additional Information If you embody the spirit of excellence, passion for discovery, innovation and enterprise, and want to make a difference in technology and electronics, come join the Venture teamBe Part of the Global Venture Family.
