**Demand & Supply Planning**:
Forecast demand and plan supply to ensure timely availability of research consumables, aligned with evolving research needs.
**Strategic Sourcing & Cost Management**:
Participate in vendor reviews and negotiations to secure favorable terms; contribute to the formulation of supply chain strategies focused on cost, quality, and service.
**Execution of Demand-Aggregated Contracts**:
Support the identification, development, and execution of demand-aggregated contracts that consolidate purchasing needs across institutes to drive cost efficiencies and streamline procurement.
**Inventory & Procurement Coordination**:
Monitor stock levels, flag potential shortages or surpluses, and coordinate with procurement teams to address gaps through appropriate sourcing strategies.
**Data Analysis & Reporting**:
Analyze procurement and inventory data using Excel or BI tools; maintain and present monthly dashboards and performance reports to inform planning and decision-making.
**Stakeholder Engagement**:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g. researchers, lab managers, procurement, logistics) and external suppliers to align supply planning with procurement cycles and operational requirements.
**Process Improvement & Risk Mitigation**:
Identify supply chain risks or process inefficiencies, and implement corrective actions to enhance operational performance and stakeholder satisfaction.
**Performance Monitoring**:
Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates and insights to management, including recommendations and countermeasures where needed.
**Job Requirements**:
Bachelor degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Logistics, Life Sciences, or a related field.
Strong analytical and data interpretation skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, charts); experience with BI tools is a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Comfortable engaging with various levels of stakeholders.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
A proactive and collaborative mindset
