In addition, it runs a chain of dental clinics, and a family medicine clinic.

DESIGNATION : Senior Associate / Assistant Manager, Projects

RESPONSIBILITIES

NTUC Health is one of Singapore's largest community health and eldercare providers. As a growing organisation, we are looking for dynamic individuals who are passionate about driving group-wide projects and initiatives relating to operational alignment, efficiency and technology adoption.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring consistency in functionality, safety and comfort for all facilities, including office spaces, nursing homes, day centres and clinics. You will also ensure sustainability & maintenance of the facilities and equipment maintenance as well as lead coordinator for new centre development and planning.

You must be an independent self-starter, organized, solution-oriented, and have strategic, critical and systems thinking. You should be able to manage and bring clarity to ambiguity and have excellent communication and people skills to act as the bridge between stakeholders and the teams tasked with the actual execution of the project to ensure the scope of the project is sound. You shall also regularly report on the project's progress and ensure that it stays on the approved schedule and budget.
- Ensure proper project management from project charter to closure
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Develop detailed project plan, measure and track project performance to ensure the successful completion of short and long-term goals
- Develop design (with designer for major renovation), tender document, manage tender and award, contract and variation orders and defects under DLP
- Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and meet budgetary objectives
- Make adjustments to project constraints based on financial analysis
- Ensure resource availability and allocation
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks
- Manage the relationship with the client and all stakeholders
- Report and escalate to management as needed
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
- Perform other related duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma or Degree in the relevant field of study
- Min. 5 years’ experience in project management
- Solid organization skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
- Excellent people skills - as a team player and in managing multiple internal and external stakeholders
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Strong strategic and critical thinking
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Able to manage/lead change management
- Able to manage designer, consultant and contractor
- Knowledge of tender and contract management
- Healthcare background; facility planning is an advantage
