Senior Logistics Executive

As a Senior Logistics Executive, you will manage both the logistics operations to ensure timely and secure delivery of materials and products to customers.

- Manage outgoing and incoming shipment processes. Self-drive to ensure effectiveness of logistics operations and the optimization of resources on distribution of products to meet customers delivery expectation

- Ensure compliance and manage of import/ export license, permits and shipment clearance for control substances with regulatory authority. To issue authorization letter to forwarder for cargoes clearance from airport or seaport
- Verify raw material or product to be imported or exported is listed in TaCoS if applicable
- Support shipment requestor to raise a TSCR ticket to Corporate Data Service Team
- Liaise Customs officer and/or local regulatory and/or global Trade Compliance team on HS code and valuation matter
- Ensure licensed materials stored at both internal and external warehouses comply with the relevant regulations, including but not limited to the licensed storage quantities
- Manage logistics related issues such as insurance claim, customer complaints and product return and perform root cause investigations and implement remedial actions
- Responsible for operational safety and ensure safe transportation of dangerous goods to meet local regulations, International Air Transport Association (IATA) and International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) requirements, perform risk assessment and manage any potential risk identified
- Liaise/co-ordinate with shipment requester, SCM logistics technician, material provisioning planner, production planner, GSK Vaccines Distribution Planning team on inter-site stock transfer for materials/ samples/ products distribution planning
- Liaise with global and local QA, Vaccines Distribution & Cold Chain (VDCC) and local QA Validation on cold chain management and qualification of temperature-controlled storage areas, equipment and transport system, shipping validation, global vaccines procedure changes and management of global/ site logistics related projects

**Project Management**
- Provide logistics support on new product transfer project and manage key logistics related project
- Initiate Change Control, Shipping Validation plan and protocol, Summary validation report for new transport system and shipping route
- Initiate Change Control and Commissioning and/or Decommissioning Protocol for storage area, shipping solution & storage system or equipment
- Initiate project for continuous improvement and/or value creation program for warehousing and logistics
- Budgeting, analyzing and reporting in relation to logistics matters, e.g. freight cost forecasting
- Sourcing for packaging material/ component for warehouse usage
- Ensure compliance with cGMP and GDP requirements by ensuring that GMP activities are properly always carried out. Manage logistics related deviation investigations and CAPAs

**Documents Management**
- Prepare shipping documents such as Proforma Invoice, Packing List for inbound and outbound shipment through transactional processes in SAP system or manual generation
- Review and perform gap analysis for QMS / GQMP / Global Operational procedures applicable to warehouse & logistic when required
- Establish SOP, Work Instructions/ training manual for shipment packing and freight management
- Manage the review cycle for SOPs in the associated electronic system, including uploading of documents, tracking of issuance of approved SOP and checklists
- Initiate Unplanned Event (UE), deviation, Change Controls (CC) and CAPA associate with logistics and warehouse
- Manage the GMP documentations ensure full compliance to QA system, document storage, retention and archival
- Monthly reporting of KPI and ensure optimal operational performance

This is a contact role, but it is convertible to a permanent role depending on your performance.
