The Senior Assistant Manager, PhD Programme, is responsible for administering the research graduate programmes at the Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine (LKCMedicine), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. The job holder reports to the Director, Research Administration and Support Services and works closely with the faculty lead and Director, PhD Programme.

**Responsibilities**:
- Supervision of the team including coaching, navigating NTU system/offices, interpreting education policies/guidelines, managing ad-hoc student cases- Preparation of quarterly scholarship expense reports to grant agencies and administration of payment of scholarship expenses-
- Planning and briefing PhD students on the orientation programme- Planning course offerings each semester in consultation with PhD Programme Director- Manage communication with faculty regarding course scheduling and setting up of digital learning portal- Planning and facilitating Board of Examiners’ (BOE) meetings including compilation of meeting package, presentation of student performance data, and preparation of BOE meeting minutes- Responding to student enquiries and maintaining student database and ensure timely updates- Providing regular student performance reports to scholarship awarding agencies- Managing thesis examination workflow including: Thesis Advisory Committee nomination and reporting; nomination of thesis examiners; submission of thesis and subsequent amendments, as applicable; organisation of qualifying and oral examinations; post-examination follow-up- Preparation of PhD annual report

**Requirements**:
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field- Experience in higher education management will be an advantage- Excellent organisational, written and oral communication skills- Team player, meticulous, resourceful and adaptable
