Job Summary
The Product Launch Specialist leads marketing launches from the define stage to successful launch. You will coordinate and provide critical input to define and deploy winning go-to-market strategies. The Product Launch Specialist engages in a combination of strategic and tactical tasks to develop launch plans and execute across global and regional Product, Marketing, and Sales teams. You will use an entrepreneurial mindset to motivate and align cross-functional stakeholders while executing launch-specific deliverables to deliver high-impact launches that elevate AVEVA’s solutions within the industrial software market.
The Product Launch Specialist - APAC will have exceptional understanding of marketing and business practices within a variety of APAC markets. This person works closely with business, sales, and marketing leaders in the region to understand each market’s unique sales enablement and go-to-market requirements. This role will deliver high value launches to the APAC region while ensuring global objectives are met.
Dimensions
This Product Launch Specialist role is global with a focus on the APAC region and reports into the Senior Manager, Global Launch Program.
Principal Accountabilities - What You Will Do
Discovery and Define
- Using business acumen, industry knowledge, and a curiosity-led mindset you will work with product managers and product marketing managers to develop and align the go-to-market strategy and business case for new offerings
- Define KPIs, measure performance, and present to the broader organization on how each launch achieves topline objectives or how to improve performance
Launch Planning and Execution
- Working with stakeholders in the Global business and APAC regional teams, develop launch plans and checklists, track tasks to completion, hold stakeholders accountable for delivery, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Using your experience and entrepreneurial mindset, foresee potential issues and develop contingency plans
- Create performance dashboards and other self-serve tools for use by stakeholders and business leaders
- Develop retrospective surveys and studies to understand how launch performs and how to improve
Process Improvement
- Leverage your unique experience and perspective to identify areas for process improvement and improved collaboration and develop plans to test improvements
- Solicit feedback and opinions on how to more effectively launch new offers to market

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Project and/or Program Management experience
- Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership
- Highly driven and motivated self-starter
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and process oriented
- Excellent ability to prioritize work and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to effectively manage important relationships across the globe
- Prefer working in a collaborative, cross-team capacity on a global scale. This role requires you to effectively work in a matrix organization in coordinating people and resources from multiple areas of the company
- Strong analytical skills, to measure process performance and implement improvements
Desired Skills
- Go-to-market and launch program management experience highly desirable
- Domain experience in industrial manufacturing or industrial software highly desirable
