Procurement Service Delivery Specialist

As a **Procurement Service Delivery Specialist **supporting Procurement Operations at Micron Technology, Inc., you will be responsible for meeting service level commitments by reacting to demand signal triggers and customer orders. You will engage with Suppliers to ensure accurate pricing, delivery and terms on purchases and escalate supplier issues when necessary. The Global Procurement Specialist will collaborate with Accounts Payable and Receiving to reconcile invoice and receiving issues related to PO-to-Pay cycle, escalating to Procurement.

**Responsibilities**:

- Create Purchase Orders (POs) referencing agreed-upon commercial and business terms and complying with applicable laws and company policies
- Process Purchasing requisitions through inventory planning systems
- Process non-inventory requisitions through Procurement requisition systems
- Support and process regional P-Card purchasing requests
- Escalate supplier issues or disputes to the appropriate Procurement contact
- Engage with suppliers to confirm pricing, delivery, and terms on purchases (collaborating with sourcing teams as required).
- Maintain Purchase Orders through Transactional Support and Stakeholder Collaboration: Process Change Order requests as necessary.
- Process PO confirmations and overdue receipts
- Provide support on PO approval process ensuring approval completion
- Support delivery re-scheduling activities based on demand change triggers
- Collaborate with Accounts Payable and Receiving to reconcile invoice and receiving issues related to PO-to-Pay cycle; escalating to Procurement contact, when necessary, Identify and solve transactional issues regarding the Purchasing process; escalating when necessary.
- Provide Administrative, Functional and Project Support to Optimize Procurement Services
- Continuously engage with procurement leadership and cross functional business clients to drive best practice adoption, optimized system utilization and continuous process improvement outcomes.
- Provide stakeholder communication on the status of outstanding orders, new part requests, and new vendor requests.
- Support the development and continuous improvement of Procurement processes that promote efficient and effective performance.
- Analyzing performance gaps to identify wasteful and inefficient points in the process & diagnosing root cause problems.
- Recommending process, methods, system & capability solutions to sustain performance improvement that satisfies the business requirements and recognizes a return on investment.
- Maintain and continuously improve knowledge of relevant Procurement processes.
- Provide mentoring and consultation on related Procurement processes.
- Support Procurement Programs to Ensure Accuracy and Integrity:

- Process data request forms for creation, changes and deletions for Procurement, Inventory Management, and Supplier Management databases.
- Provide data management and administrative support to sourcing for the supplier qualification process
- Administer the regional Purchasing Card program including training on the PCard process, activating, and issuing cards, assuring monthly payments, and auditing.
