Be part of the core team in upholding quality and standards in the work delivered to the clients
- Transcribe Singaporean English audio recordings (mixed with other local languages), in accordance with the project guidelines
- Vet and edit of Singaporean speech data transcripts in **English and/or Chinese/Malay** based on project guidelines
- Support the team in producing English and/or Chinese captions
- Work with the rest of the operations team to improve overall efficiency and quality of operations process
- You may be required to work from the client’s premise depending on respective projects’ needs

**Requirements**:

- Keen eye for detail to ensure accuracy and quality of transcribed material
- Fast typing skills
- Possess a keen sense of phonemic awareness - in other words, a keen sense of identifying and differentiating between types of consonants and vowels in speech
- Familiarity with at least one of the following languages/dialects - Singaporean Mandarin, Malay and/or Chinese Dialects (i.e. Cantonese, Hokkien, Teochew, Hakka and Hainanese) due to work requirements
- Prior experience in International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA) transcription (any language) and/or background in Linguistics Studies would be a plus
- Track record for being reliable and committed to meeting deadlines
- Meticulous and carry out necessary research/checks to ensure accurate and consistent spelling/usage of words
- Proactively communicate with fellow teammates to share updates and discuss any questions or issues
