Regional Compliance Advisory Officer (Singapore)

**My client is a **leading provider of market infrastructure **who is looking for a Regional Compliance Advisory Officer to be based in their Singapore branch office.**

**Your new role**

**As a compliance officer, you will participate in projects and initiatives, providing compliance expertise and guidance, as well as ensuring adherence to relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices. You will stay updated on regulatory developments and industry trends, analyzing their impact on the organization, and proactively advising on necessary changes or actions.**

**Furthermore, you will conduct training and awareness programs for employees on compliance-related matters, promoting a strong compliance culture within the organization. You will also be responsible for investigating and managing compliance breaches or incidents, ensuring appropriate action is taken and necessary reporting is done.**

**In summary, your role as a compliance officer will involve supporting the Head of Compliance in various strategic activities and managing the Compliance Monitoring Programme. You will provide regulatory advice, draft internal policies, and identify regulatory risks. Additionally, you will build relationships with key stakeholders, conduct periodic reviews, and participate in projects to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and industry standards**

**What you'll need to succeed**
- 4-8 years compliance experience, ideally have energy and commodities sector knowledge
- Have experience with exchanges like CME/ICE/SGX
- Dealt with escalation or blocks, foreign exchanges
- Capable of speaking with regulators, knowledge of MAS regulations especially CMSL/RMO rules
