AIA Singapore’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework is a structured and disciplined approach aligning strategy, processes, people and systems to evaluate and manage the uncertainties the Company faces as it creates value. We have a comprehensive and integrated set of components that support the achievement of the corporate objectives, and provides the strategic, operational and foundational layers to govern, embed, implement, monitor and continually improve risk management in the Company. The ERM framework outlines the approach to decisions regarding risk management, the roles of all relevant parties, as well as the governance structure, policies and processes to enable risk management to be embedded as a component in all critical decisions. It also sets out the various factors to consider, the broad steps to assess, treat, monitor and communicate risks, and the necessary ingredients and foundation for ERM to be successful.
- Technology Risk Advice and Guidance: You will learn and develop the skills required to provide risk, control and compliance advice to Technology and Business stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Policy and Framework Implementation: You will work with a mentor within the team to develop your critical thinking and an agile skillset in order to support you in developing a practical approach to implementing Group or MAS technology risk frameworks and policy requirements.
- Controls: You will be assisting the team to design, assess and measure a control environment that mitigates risks, meets regulatory obligations, and complies with the requirements of internal policies.
- Key indicator and trend analysis: Leveraging what you learn at university, you will have an opportunity to help build proactive risk & control data analytics and KRI reporting for the team.
- Project Risk: A large part of your role will be to familiarise yourself with key TDA projects and to provide risk advice for these major initiatives to ensure that Group/MAS Security standards and requirements are met, and the appropriate controls are implemented.
- Training and Awareness: Not only will this role involve you increasing your own Technology Risk awareness, but you will also help to enhance risk culture across the organization via the development and presentation of training sessions for your stakeholders.
- Fast Learner and demonstrate strong interest in learning Life Insurance domain knowledge.
- Good problem solver in providing innovative ideas in solving business/technical issues.
