We're looking for a Business Development Director to operate as member of the sales team in Singapore. The role includes a competitive salary and benefits package including 20 days holiday, private medical and commission scheme.
**Job Purpose**

The Business Development Director will be responsible for the achievement of revenue targets across new logo and account management across their allocated territory. The purpose of the role is to create revenue growth by expanding the use of TrustQuay software and services with existing clients and new logos.

**Key Responsibilities**

The Business Development Director will operate as member of the TrustQuay revenue team. You will be assessed on the volume and value of revenue across new business and account management, your rolling pipeline and client NPS scores.
Some of your responsibilities will include:

- Helping to develop a revenue strategy which supports TrustQuay's business goals including building and maintaining a pipeline of at least 3x annual target.
- Owning key client relationships in the region, ensuring the TrustQuay proposition is fully delivered for key client stakeholders including executives, the business, operations, and IT.
- Initiating and managing the full sales cycle, coordinating pre-sales and other specialist resources as needed.
- Developing a territory with a diverse range of key target organisations and growing new opportunities in the market.
- Closing deals valued between £10,000 and £200,000 per year (although if you want to aim higher, we certainly won't stop you).
- Developing and maintaining a solid network of industry contacts.
- Supporting marketing campaigns and helping with activities such as customer forums, conferences, and events.
- Identifying new market and growth opportunities to build a strong sales pipeline.
- Establishing, and developing relationships with primary Ecosystem partners.
- Providing leadership and guidance to a small team of professional staff in the Singapore office.
**Key Skills and Experience**:
You should be able to demonstrate the following experiences and qualifications:

- An ability to deal with people at all levels within an organisation and show and demonstrate negotiating skills with key decision makers. C-level engagement experience.
- Highly proficient organisation skills to manage multiple customer opportunities and meet customer expectations and deadlines.
- Clear, concise, and professional communication manner, both written and oral.
- Superior communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills to establish interest, trust, and credibility.
- An ability to think strategically and creatively to maximise sales success in a competitive market environment.
- Sound understanding of Corporate Services, Trust and Alternative Fund Administration operations and relevant processes.
- Thorough understanding of IT processes and implementations from both functional and technical perspectives.
- Proactively contribute to your team environment i.e., share market insights, customer feedback, collaborative techniques.
- Preferably, a university education in relevant business disciplines.
- Self-motivated, ambitious, independent, organised, focused and be able to multi-task.
- Experience with CRM platforms, with HubSpot knowledge advantageous.
- This role will require global travel (once safe to travel post Covid-19)
