Project Manager

We are a discretionary, event-driven proprietary trading firm and hedge fund specialized in the digital asset space. We have performed extraordinarily well since inception 1.5 years ago**:9 figure AUM with 1,200%+ return vs 87.5% for BTC and Sharpe of 3.5+ vs BTC at 1.0.** We are seeking a Project Manager to help keep us organized across all of our strategies with the following 3 key responsibilities: - **Write, update, and communicate incisive plans** that easily keep all key stakeholders aligned across our organization. - On a daily basis, **manage the backlogs and timelines** across our teams. - On a daily basis, **write and maintain high-quality documentation** across our teams. While these will be your key responsibilities, we are a startup and you will definitely be called upon to fulfill other requirements, of which we've included examples at the bottom. There will be advancement opportunities as we continue to expand. **Key Requirements** **Necessities** - At times, writing may utilize a majority of your time. You must be an **extremely strong (English) written communicator**. - You will work with several teams to help them with their written plans. You must be **sharp** enough to ask insightful questions when you spot inconsistencies or gaps in thinking. - You're already **familiar with the basics of our industry** (market making, crypto, and hedge funds). - You have a **technical background** (systematic trading, on-chain data engineering, and scraping). Teams will rely on you for documentation. If you're not familiar with the relevant technical jargon, it's going to be very hard. - You must be familiar and comfortable using tools like **JIRA**. **Nice-to-Haves** - It would be ideal if you are comfortable running our Scrums. - You should be comfortable speaking in both English and Chinese as many of our developers can give you information more easily in one language or another. **Interview Process** - **CV Screening** - Against the criteria above. - (Optional) Recruiter Call - If your CV needs additional screening. - **Systematic Technology Interview** - Our systematic team leads will interview you to assess your suitability to help them with planning and documentation. - **Project Manager Interview** - You will be interviewed on your general project management skills. - **Discretionary Technology Assessment** - A project and its timeline will be described to you and you will need to put together a written summary fit for an executive to read. - **Partners Interview** - Final interview with the CIO for cultural fit - Why do you meet the requirement outlined in this JD?
