Transaction Capture Sr Supv

The Transaction Capture Sr Supv is an intermediate management level position responsible for leading and supervising a medium sized unit of support employees, in coordination with the Transaction Capture team. The overall objective of this role is to improve processes, interpret data, prepare reports, and minimize bank risk through ensuring adherence to audit and control policies. **Responsibilities**: - Provide analytic and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically around derivatives and securities transactions - Maintain position records in coordination with the traditional trading desk assistant and / or trade processing functions - Support trade capture management, Front to Back reconciliation, operational risk identification, trade confirmation and settlement forecasts - Integrate a solid understanding of industry and business standards and practices of transactions capture and all the related functions - Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management in support of improving processes - Solve complex problems or transactions independently, utilizing knowledge of policies, guidelines or processes, and escalate as needed - Interpret data, prepare reports, and present findings to management - Design and analyze complex reports and make recommendations based on identified trends, facts, and policy gaps - Minimize risk to the bank and provide solutions to reduce errors, and to adhere to audit and control policies - Perform monthly MCA verification and ensuring all checks are in place. Ensure that MCA is submitted in Citi Risk within the specified period. Review and accept or reject any new ARCM that is being pushed down to the dept. - Coordinate with the Front Office, Finance, Risk and Legal on issues relating to the processing of these transactions - Perform controls, account reconciliation and record retention functions according to the policy - Participate in various system enhancement, COB testing and projects implementation, Ensuring that all COB requirement are met and items submitted in COBTRAC accordingly. - Work towards achieving optimum productivity and accuracy with the team - Ensuring daily tasks are completed and daily tasks is marked off timely on CBORC. - Project - To take charge and to drive and assist in all project as directed by management. To participate in all UAT testing as and when required - To perform daily DTCC reconciliation and ensure all trades position and MTM are reflected in the TSR report within the specified timeline. Ensuring that all breaks (If any) are escalated timely to Compliance and management. - To perform LBV proofing and highlight any exception to the various team. Ensuring all breaks are accounted for with reasons and adjusted accordingly. - To review Deferred/Suspense report on a daily basis. Ensuring that all Deferred/Suspense is accounted for with reasons and adjusted accordingly within 3 working days. - Large trade monitoring. Ensuring that all large trade captured in ROD report is accounted for with necessary supporting documents from the various team. Ensuring that all documentation is properly initial off with Marker and checker sign off. - Managing the team and ensure smooth operating of daily BAU.
