ZALORA is on a mission to become the #1 Fashion & Lifestyle destination within South-east Asia and we’re looking for somebody who really gets how to build delightful products in hard-to-copy and margin-enhancing ways. This role is for a collaborative and curious product manager who will lead our Social Commerce squad. In this role, you’ll help ZALORA build more social and engaging ways of shopping for our customers across SEA on our platforms. It will be a mixed role of product strategy and leadership, but also involving hands-on tasks and delivery for features you build.

You’ll be a part of our Consumer vertical, reporting to the Associate Director of Product, and be a part of the Zalora Regional product team. You’ll be leading the strategy, roadmap, prioritization, and problem-solving for your teams.

Here are some of the expectations of this role
1. You’re able to lead the product strategy and vision for making the ZALORA shopping experience more
social across platforms and geographies-taking into account the ZALORA strategy and determining how
social commerce might contribute to increasing customer engagement and lifetime value. Product Strategy
for us is about team mission, goals, measures of success, and priorities.
2. You can own the entire product life-cycle from identifying an opportunity to ideation to prioritization and
delivery - you can think strategically about the direction we’re heading, but also dive into the details of
specifics within your product remit to ensure nothing is missed and requirements are covered.
3. Keen and able to collaborate closely with and lead a cross-functional team where you’ll be working with
Designers, Engineers and from ideation through to launch whilst creating a sense of co-authorship and
shared responsibility.
4. Have a keen eye for slicing work into its smallest valuable increments to deliver value fast, and to constantly
be looking to improve our user experience and not leave it to gather dust. We’re looking for someone that
cares about building delightful experiences over time.
5. Able to be practical and eager to explore the art of the possible within our healthy constraints, without
losing sight of our vision and the principles and standards we as a team hold ourselves to.
6. Can build trusting relationships with stakeholders from across the organization, take on board their
feedback, pair that with customer insight and make decisions, and articulate next steps that’ll be in the best
interest of ZALORA and our customers.
7. Understand customer value, how it’s delivered, and can be an evangelist within the business for focusing
on the customer. It might not happen every day, but you’re diligent in getting us towards that state.
8. This position may also include direct reports in the future, where we expect you to coach and guide more
junior product managers, helping drive career growth, engagement, and collective success

Some additional requirements
1. We are looking for experienced product managers, with rich and varied experience solving big consumer
problems ideally within South-East Asia.
2. Ideal, but not necessary to have experience in eCommerce and/or social and livestreaming products,
especially if within South-East Asia.
