Field Service Center Manager

In this exciting role, you will serve as both a Technical Lead and Team Lead to direct the technical support we provide in Singapore Field Service Center. You shall perform and provide technical consultation regarding in-house repair, refurbishment, maintenance, and testing for supported Agilent products. Additionally, you will be responsible for engaging, motivating, and developing a diverse team to deliver consistent and high-quality service and customer experience. - Improve Service Engineers’ and Technicians’ support capability through planning Technical Training & Mentoring. - Build cross-functional collaborations and leverage team resource. - Work closely with Service Parts Logistics (SPL) to plan service parts inventory and ensure packaging quality, efficient shipment process and low inventory cost. - Manage daily operations and identify, develop and implement initiatives to achieve or improve profit margin and team metrics. - Respond to and deploy solutions to resolve technical, department and customers problems / issues. - Review and seek continuous improvement in the daily operations, processes, procedures to drive efficiency, improve customer satisfaction and build a customer centric mentality. **Job Qualifications** - Bachelor's or Master's Degree or equivalent education preferably in an Engineering field. - 8+ years relevant experience required. - Strong technical background to work on detailed task and lead the team. - Proven leadership skills with experience in supervising a team - Business management skills with an ability to translate organization plans to clear team plans with priorities. - Practice open door policy - Ensure objectives of organization are clearly communicated to the management and team. - Good understanding of Service Business to make timely and sound decisions. - Ability to align culture of customer passion, learning, and “institutionalize" Customer Delight Programs. - Outcome driven and good interpersonal skills to influence and drive consensus. - A _people _person - skilled in building and maintaining relationships within the team and with internal and external partners globally. - Agilent Technologies Inc. is an equal opportunity employer.
