Singapore Fairfield Methodist Church Full time

Under the supervision of the Pastor-in-Charge and with the Pastor assigned to Outreach, the Ministry Staff will be responsible and accountable for the planning and execution of the church outreach ministry programmes that serve the various communities around the church and pastoral care towards achieving Fairfield Methodist Church’s vision and mission.

**Responsibilities**:
**Outreach**
- Develop long-term community permeation and outreach strategies in Chinatown.
- Plan, organize, mobilize and co-ordinate all outreach and community events and projects.
- Raise up and equip volunteers to support the ministry of Yong En Care Centre (“YCC”).
- Mobilize, equip and nurture volunteers for the church-wide projects and events.
- Network and forge partnerships with other Churches and community service agencies and organisations in Chinatown.

**Pastoral Care**
- Pastoral visitations (shut-in, hospitals and residences) and wake services
- Involvement in church corporate events and services
- Member care
- Any other pastoral care and oversight as needed

**Other Duties**
- Any other duties as assigned by the Pastor-In-Charge or the pastor overseeing the ministry staff’s area of responsibility in consultation with the Pastor-in-Charge
- Preaching and teaching as assigned by Pastor-in-Charge
