**Associate Director, Regional Compliance - Asia Pacific & Japan**

You are a business savvy risk professional, able to assess compliance risks. As a strong business partner, your strength lies in your ability to develop and execute compliance strategies whilst also developing compliance programs.

**Key Areas of Responsibility**:
Reporting to the Legal & Compliance Lead, Asia Pacific & Japan your main areas of focus will include:

- ** Compliance partnering**: Proactively partnering with Legal & Compliance and the APJ business practice community to guide Foreign Corrupt Practices Act review, compliance risk assessments and discussions.
- ** Compliance programs and policies**: Actively thinking about continual improvement, also developing existing compliance programs, to ensure consistency of policy localization across Organon Asia Pacific & Japan countries.
- ** Third party & institution compliance**: Driving risk assessment, due diligence and monitoring audit program.
- ** Compliance initiatives and projects**: Working on new compliance initiatives, also designing new control and monitoring measures, for new business activities and practices.
- ** Investigation**: Leading or participating in internal investigations, including data analysis, document review and interviews; coordinating external government enquiries/investigations

**Required experience & expertise**:

- A Bachelor’s degree in law, finance or accounting
- Significant professional experience relating to the main aspects of the role
- A proven track record working on compliance program monitoring assessment and improvement
- Understanding of the medical industry, especially pharmaceuticals or medical devices is preferred
- Proven ability to partner closely with internal and external stakeholders, delivering value and measurable outcomes
- Proactive, well-organized and professional, with an ability to prioritize work and exercise good judgment
- Excellent communication and drafting skills in English, able to communicate with influence across diverse audiences
- Strong problem-solving skills focussing on the detail of the problem
- Knowledge of Foreign Corrupt Practices Act and related regulations
