Commodity Trader

Job Responsibilities:

- Keep up to date on meat pricing, markets, movements and supply/ demand pressure to capitalise on trading opportunity
- Generate profitable returns on back-to-back meat trading (primarily checkn, swine, beef and mutton)
- Ensure smooth operational fluency with internal and external logistics personnel
- Maintain relationships with frozen meat producers/ suppliers and build new lines for product purchase across chicken, pork, beef and other meats etc.
- Work with internal/ external teams on hedging, risk management and operations

Job Requirements:

- With relevant experience in a back-to-back frozen meat (chicken/ pork/ beef/ mutton)
- Experience in shipping will be an added advantage
- Good knowledge of the global meat trading landscape
- Ability to travel for customer and supplier meetings, as well as to the head office in Asia (Singapore)
- Working location: Buroh Lane
- Working hours: 5 working days per week, Mon - Fri, 8:30AM - 5:30PM
