**Reimagine and lead a Play-and-Earn Metaverse, where the virtual and real world converge
Affyn is a Singapore-based company with a global reach, pioneering the gaming model with a sustainable play-and-earn economy where rewards earned in the virtual world can also be utilized in the real world.
**Tasks and responsibilities
- Collaborate with Product Managers, UIUX Designers and various stakeholders to envisage functionalities, propose and determine technological needs
- Collaborate with fellow developers on the development and integration of components and services
- Develop high-performance software by writing clean, testable and reusable codes
- Design efficient database schemas
- Maintain up-to-date software documentation
**Skills and requirements
- 2 to 5 years experience in Backend development
- High proficiency in Node.js, Express.js and Jest
- High proficiency in relational and non-relational databases
- Experience with AWS services including AWS Elastic Beanstalk, Lambda, API Gateway and Cognito
- Experience with Amplitude, Customer.io and Google Analytics is a plus
- Experience with Kubernetes, Docker and microservices is a plus
- Experience with blockchain and Web3 technologies (e.g. Solidity, EVM and OpenZeppelin) is a plus
- Developer Certifications with AWS, Azure, GCP or MongoDB are added advantage
- Strong sense of ownership, good communicator, self-motivated and quick learner
- Other than working in a central location (Suntec City) and having a competitive salary with bonuses, successful hires will also be allocated FYN tokens as part of the remuneration package._
