**Backend Developer**

EightX Lifestyle is leading a revolution in the lifestyle space, with a critical focus on F&B and technology in our current growth phase. With five Lifestyle Hubs (and many more to come), Singapore's largest microbrewery, and a vision to become Singapore's leading lifestyle brand community. We are looking for a developer who loves backend development, is passionate about the evolution of technology, and is willing to jump in headfirst to play with the latest and greatest tech We seek a special breed of developers who desires to architect state of the art backend solutions to power our frontend solutions and enable a data-driven ecosystem.

**Responsibilities**
- Integrate Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions into our ecosystem
- Writing high-quality, clean, and maintainable code using engineering best practices (unit testing, source control, design patterns, etc.)
- Collaborate with other software engineers to design, build, enhance, and test new features
- Keep at the forefront of emerging web-based technologies and trends
- Create and maintain API documentation

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar
- At least three years of commercial experience in backend web development
- Experienced in Typescript or any other strongly typed languages
- Proficiency in developing REST/GraphQL API microservices
- Experienced with any SQL Databases
- Hands-on experience on Amazon web services (Cognito, AWS Lambda, SNS, S3, API Gateway, RDS, ec2, VPC, etc.)

**Good to have**
- Experienced with developing using AWS CDK would be highly sought after
- Experienced in developing in a serverless backend environment
- Knowledge of python backend development
- Knowledge of any frontend frameworks (Vue, Angular, React) would be a plus but not required.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines would be a benefit
- Including your personal GitHub account in your resume
- Any AWS certification from associate level and above would be beneficial
