We are looking for an Associate Project Specialist to join our Ice Cream Product Technology & Development Team. In this position, you are responsible for driving project management excellence within NDU Ice Cream. You will ensure efficient and effective execution of E2E (end-to-end) management of Innovation & Renovation top priority projects. You will lead competence development in Project Management among project leaders and ensure all R&D projects are compliant with I2L and PMO methodologies. You will also lead all multi-market, multi-category and/or complex NDU Ice Cream projects.

**A day in the life of...**
- Drive project management excellence within NDU Ice Cream
- Ensure efficient and effective execution of E2E (end-to-end) management of innovation & Renovation top priority projects
- Lead competence development in Project management among project leaders and ensure all R&D projects are compliant with I2L and PMO methodologies
- Lead all multi-market, multi-category and/or complex NDU Ice Cream projects
- Identify project resources (human and budget) and lead overall I2L project planning and execution including gate preparation
- Drive cross-functional Opportunity and Risk management and escalation to accelerate decision making on each project
- Ensure adherence of project team to I2L processes including set up of common project based objectives
- Ensure zero waste and vertical start up
- Implement NHW and CSV strategies in practice
- Challenge project scope changes, impact on project portfolio and resource allocation
- Deliver assigned projects on time and on cost
- Contribute to key decision making and assist in stakeholder management
- Capture and share lessons learnt on top projects
- Leverage regional support between locations, especially on trainings or specific project support
- Lead Key Success Criteria definition for all project teams, challenging KSC with an unbiased view to assure speed and get validation from Decider(s)
- Drive synergies through effective networking with other R&D PMOs and external PMO Partners
- Proactively propose and drive new idea and projects methods to NDU and Market Application Groups
- Build and document knowledge about latest methods, trends and developments with PMO
- Explore breakthrough process improvements through continuous benchmarking with other NPTCs and markets
- Actively participate in expert network to promote cross-fertilization between different sites
- Integrate Scientific, Technology, Quality. Regulatory and Safety and Environment knowledge into projects

**What will make you successful**
- Bachelors’ Degree in a relevant discipline
- Min 3 years direct project management experience in TAG or R&D
- Min 3 years experience in ice cream category within operations, TAG & R&D
- PMO Certification preferred
