**Summary: Ocean Operations Executive**

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Oversee and manage entire forwarding process
- Co-ordination, planning, tracking and executing freight movements
- Handle full set of ocean freight shipping documents.
- Liaison with carriers for FCL/LCL shipment bookings
- Handle permit declaration, DG declaration and trucking
- Manage documentation flow through Cargowise system. This includes bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, Pos and other required documents
- Ensure jobs are closed though timely billings
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders
- **Required Skills and Abilities**:

- Customer-oriented, detail-minded, self-motivated and able to work under pressure and solve problem independently
- Team player with positive working attitude
- Hands on when handling operations related matter; ability to address multiple task, set work priorities, and organize work effectively
- Meticulous and high attention to details
- Positive attitude with strong mindset to embrace system processes
- **Education and Experience**:

- 1 - 3 years experience in freight forwarding with experience on ocean freight operations
- Knowledge of customs regulation will be beneficial
- Knowledge of Cargowise will be added advantage
- Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain or equivalent
- Good command of English and Mandarin
- Proficiency with MS Office products including Word, Excel, Powerpoint and Outlook
- **Physical Requirements**:

- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds, particularly luggage while traveling.
