Job Description

Job Responsibilities
- Ensures accounting transactions are compliant with Fugro Internal Control
- System (ICS) and external (statutory) and internal policies/procedures
- Delivers high quality of service while complying with all standards and shared services blueprints
- Champions operational efficiencies and service improvements initiatives such as RPAs
- Manages both internal (group, regional and local) and external stakeholders
- Manages R2R personnel, including manpower planning and staff development to eventual transition of R2R activities from SG to KL
- Maintain a high standard of compliance with internal controls, overseeing the preparation of error-free statutory, tax, and management reports.
- Working closely with SEA Tax Manager on SEA legal entities adherence to tax regulations and transfer pricing guidelines, in alignment with relevant legislation and OECD requirements.
- Collaborate closely with business teams, providing actionable insights into business lines performance, proactively identifying upsides, risks, and necessary actions.
- Engage and collaborate with various stakeholders, including Company Secretary, External/Internal Auditors, Bankers, Lawyers, and Tax authorities, to ensure seamless delivery on commitments.
- Serve as a strategic business partner to the General Manager, leveraging insights to offer proactive financial leadership and guidance to business teams.
- Participates in ad hoc projects as required.

Job Requirements:

- Min bachelor’s degree in accountancy or ACCA qualified
- Min 8 years relevant working experience in a similar function, interacting with a SSC environment, with min 3 years of Lead experience
- Audit experience will be an added advantage
- People management experience
- Excellent English language skills, fluency in other languages will be an add advantage
- Excellent communication and people development skills
- Competencies: accurate, analytical, independent, organized, pro-active, service minded, team player
- Knowledge in IFS ERP is an added advantage
- Proactive and positive approach to work
