We are looking for a passionate Chief Accounting Officer (Asia) to manage a set of accounting activities to assist the development of the company, financial planning and execution in the Hong Kong Office.

- **About the job**:
The Chief Accounting Officer (Asia) will manage a set of accounting activities to ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles, corporate policies and external audits. This person will manage the accounts payable function, payroll function, monthly closing of accounts and preparation of reports in support of the financial statements.

The Chief Accounting Officer will report to Head of Investment and Director of Legal & Finance and work closely with others in the organization in analysis and reconciliation of accounts and in development and implementation of accounting policies, procedures and controls.

**Responsibilities**:

- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including monthly financial close process, day-to-day financial operations, payroll, invoicing, and other transactions in Asia,
- Monitor and analyse accounting data and produce financial reports or statements,
- Produce financial reports related to budgets, rolling forecasts, account payables, account receivables, expenses, etc,
- Collaborate with external auditors and compile consolidation and related disclosure notes in order to ensure successful audit results and compliance,
- Prepare profit tax computation and tax filing,
- Establish and enforce ongoing development/establishment of accounting policies and procedures and operational strategies including the review and implementation of process and system changes,
- Understand and adhere to financial regulations and legislation.

**Requirements**:

- Degree holder and member of HKICPA or equivalent,
- At least 4 years’ audit/commercial experience in big 4
- At least 4 years’ experience in private or public company
- Affluent with NetSuite Accounting System
- Proven knowledge of accounting standards,
- Understanding of US GAAP would be an advantage,
- Proficiency in advanced MS Excel & Powerpoint skills,
- Ability to stick to time constraints,
- Independent, self-motivated and capable of working under pressure to meet tight deadline and handle multiple tasks,
- Good command of English is a must,
- A good team player with integrity and honesty.
