Our client is a high-growth fintech firm headquartered in Hong Kong, focused on delivering innovative digital financial products across payments, lending, and wealthtech. With an expanding footprint in Asia and a strong investor base, our client is now seeking a visionary and commercially astute **Chief Strategy Officer**to drive long-term business growth and market leadership. The Chief Strategy Officer will lead the development and execution of the company’s corporate strategy, identifying new market opportunities, driving strategic partnerships, and supporting fundraising and M&A efforts. As a key member of the executive team, the CSO will work closely with senior stakeholders to shape the company’s direction and ensure alignment with financial and operational goals.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Define and refine the company’s long-term business strategy, growth roadmap, and competitive positioning.
- Lead strategic planning processes and provide insights on emerging fintech trends, customer needs, and market dynamics.
- Identify and evaluate new business models, partnerships, and market entry opportunities.
- Support investor relations, fundraising, and corporate development (e.g. M&A, JV opportunities).
- Oversee strategic initiatives and cross-functional programs, ensuring alignment with business priorities.
- Drive the annual planning and budgeting process in collaboration with the CFO and business heads.
- Build business cases for expansion into new geographies, verticals, or product lines.
- Work closely with Product, Tech, Marketing, and Operations to turn strategic plans into executable roadmaps.Present strategic updates and growth metrics to the board, investors, and external stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or relevant postgraduate degree preferred.
- At least 15 years of experience in corporate strategy, consulting, investment banking, or strategic roles in fintech or financial services.
- Deep knowledge of the fintech ecosystem, especially in APAC, and familiarity with digital banking, payments, lending, or blockchain.
- Strong business acumen, analytical skills, and ability to turn insights into actions.
- Proven track record in leading strategic initiatives, M&A evaluations, or scaling startups.
- Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment is a strong advantage.Fluency in English; Mandarin or Cantonese is a plus.
