We are looking for a
**Senior Data Modeller **who will work closely with our data architects, to develop bespoke databases utilizing a mixture of conceptual, physical, and logical models. Their solutions streamline and support enterprise information management. Additionally they will help develop best practices for data coding, ensure consistency within the system, and review modifications of existing cross-compatibility systems. This role will report into the Head of Engineering (Data Platform) and will be crucial in shaping the future of climate-tech SaaS products.

**In this role you will**:

- Maintain logical and physical data models along with accurate metadata.
- Create and upkeep the data glossary
- Develop, implement and support the usage of data visualization toolkit, configuration, deployment and usage.
- Be responsible for solution architecture, design, and development of models for small projects.
- Create conceptual data models to identify key business entities and visualize their relationships.
- Support NoSQL and SQL DB schema and model the data bases
- Support teams through all development phases
- Present and communicate modeling results and recommendations to internal stakeholders.
- Ensure and enforce a governance process to oversee implementation activities and ensure alignment to the defined architecture.
- Collaborate internationally with various stakeholders.
- Extract key insights for an executive audience, conveying them in clear, concise written and visual summaries, employing data-driven charts, maps and graphics where appropriate.
- Perform data profiling/analysis activities that help to establish, modify and maintain data models.
- Communicate physical database designs and explain features that may affect the physical data model.
- Regularly engage and consult stakeholders on solving business problems through data, guiding the conversation rather than following orders.
- Analyze data-related system integration challenges and propose appropriate solutions with a strategic approach.

**You should have**:

- At least 5 years experience in similar role in a tech company/Saas company
- Hands-on experience with tools like SQL Data Modeler, Lucidchart, ER/Studio etc.
- Hands-on experience with Databases Postgres, MongoDB, AWS RDS etc.
- Fluent with Python, SQL, and other programming languages.
- Strong collaboration and problem solving abilities.
