This role requires a strategic partnership with IT to establish a state-of-the-art data lake, manage ETL processes, implement a testing & validation framework across BI tools and ensure the data infrastructure robustly supports the organization's analytics and reporting needs. The Senior Manager, HR Data Model and Analytics Engineer will work on establishing the rules associated with HR Data Model and Analytics engineering. The role will be partnering with stakeholders in Technology team, HR COEs and other People Analytics team member on the requirements, design of the solution.**Senior Manager - HR Data Model and Data Engineer****Location: Singapore**This role involves leading the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive HR data architecture. This role requires a strategic partnership with IT to establish a state-of-the-art data lake, manage ETL processes, implement a testing & validation framework across BI tools and ensure the data infrastructure robustly supports the organization's analytics and reporting needs.**Roles & Responsibilities:*** Develop and maintain an extensive **HR data model** that supports the organization's requirements for reporting, analytics, and data-driven decision-making.* Design and implement a scalable and integrated **HR** **data architecture**, connecting various systems and data sources.* Lead the setup and management of a **HR data lake**, ensuring it is effectively optimized for storing vast volumes of structured and unstructured HR data.* Oversee **automation &** **ETL processes**, including data extraction, transformation, and loading, to ensure data is accurately imported into the data lake and other systems.* Implement **data quality frameworks** and processes to maintain high standards of data integrity and accuracy.* Develop and implement a robust **testing & validation framework** across BI tools to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data models and reporting outputs as well as to validate data models, ETL processes, and data quality measures.* **Signing off** on all HR BI solutions post meeting validation framework requirements before it moves to production.* Define & document **technical requirements** and **implementation details** for data management projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and IT standards.* **Collaborate with IT** to support data-related technical issues and ensure alignment with the organization's data strategy.* **Stay abreast of industry trends** and advancements in data management technologies and practices, recommending enhancements to the organization's data infrastructure.**Qualifications:*** 10+ years of experience in HR data management, data architecture, and database systems, especially within Azure’s ecosystem with a strong understanding of data modelling concepts, techniques (dimensional, relational), and best practices.* In-depth knowledge of automation, ETL tools and methodologies for extracting data from source systems, transforming it into a usable format, and loading it into the data warehouse.* Advanced proficiency in SQL for writing complex queries & a scripting language (Python, Java, etc)* Experience in effectively communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audience.* In-depth understanding of various testing methodologies (functional, non-functional, automation) across the BI development lifecycle.* Experience in documenting technical requirements and implementation details* Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with IT and other stakeholders.* A commitment to continuous learning and staying informed on industry trends and data management best practices.* Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking to address technical challenges that may arise during the data warehouse build process.* Ability to lead projects and drive them to completion.* Experience with data governance and compliance standards. **Prudential is an equal opportunity employer.** We provide equality of opportunity of benefits for all who apply and who perform work for our organisation irrespective of sex, race, age, ethnic origin, educational, social and cultural background, marital status, pregnancy and maternity, religion or belief, disability or part-time / fixed-term work, or any other status protected by applicable law.
