**JOB DESCRIPTION AND EXPECTATIONS**:
Value Advisor Experts are a part of APJ Industries & Customer Advisory organization (ICA), They are responsible for helping companies digitally transform their organizations by collaboratively developing justifications for technology investment decisions by aligning solutions and business outcomes to strategic imperatives, building business cases, and developing value roadmaps.

This involves partnering with field sales teams to identify revenue opportunities, managing the development of account strategies, and plans to maximize customer lifetime value. Successful Value Advisors also provide industry thought leadership, strategic advice, and expert consultation to support customer. They are strong advocates of the Value DNA within and outside the organization. This is a critical role supporting business to grow sales, pipeline, customer adoption and satisfaction and thereby contribute to building and maintaining SAP’s leadership position and brand.

**CORE RESPONSIBILITIES OF VALUE ADVISOR EXPERT**:

- Lead in the creation of customer-centric executive positioning / point of views to excite the customer to collaborate with SAP
- Conduct industry / customer research and develop analysis using publicly available information, benchmarks etc. Perform Project economics / ROI / TCO analysis
- Successfully pitch and lead complex engagements with cross-functional teams (internal and external) f2f or virtually.
- Contribute to internal account strategy discussions in a meaningful fashion.
- Use techniques such as design thinking, interviews, and process benchmarking to explore new business models and discover value opportunities
- Conduct executive level dialog in relation to the deliverables. Provide guidance to customer executives to build and deliver board-level justification documents
- Deliver presentations to small and large audiences and deal elegantly with objections
- Establish and maintain the trust of internal & external stakeholders.
- Participate in enablement programs, community of practices, and/or Hubs to share knowledge, internally and externally

A typical engagement requires obtaining buy-in of key stakeholders, confirming scope and timeline, conducting discovery workshops, analyzing, and synthesizing information, producing quality, executive ready deliverables with the ability to articulate work in a compelling and effective manner and supporting internal / customer teams on adoption of SAP.

**ACADEMIC AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS**:

- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) required, MBA or equivalent degree required from accredited university preferred
- At least 10 years of work experience in a reputed business or consulting organization; Background in Management or Operational consulting, Investment banking, PE will be preferred
- Ability to produce storylines and high-quality presentations with a very keen eye for detail; Comfortable with doing financial analysis.
- Understanding of key business processes, such as Finance, HR, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing
- Understanding of 1 or more industries like Manufacturing, Energy & Natural Resources, Consumer Products, Public sector, FSI, etc. will be an added advantage.
- Use techniques such as design thinking, interviews, and process benchmarking to discover value opportunities
- Experience in technology landscape and process/technology integration issues, SAP technologies is nice to have but not mandatory.

- Ability to be flexible; follow tight deadlines; organize and prioritize work
- Ability to synthesize/distill information from a variety of sources
- Team player with strong listening and collaboration skills

**OTHER REQUIREMENTS**:

- Experience in ASEAN region would be preferred; local language(s) proficiency is nice to have but not mandatory
- 0-30% local / regional Business travel will be required under normal circumstances
