Reporting to the Head of Strategy and Planning, this position will work closely with the regional management team to conduct analyses, develop, and implement key strategic initiatives for Blueleaf Energy. The initiatives will support the company’s future growth across the Asia Pacific region towards establishing Blueleaf Energy as a leading renewable energy platform in Asia Pacific.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead business planning and support strategy development for new and existing renewable energy markets in collaboration with business units (e.g., country directors, investment team). Includes management of annual planning process and strategy sessions.
- Independently develop well-structured decision-making materials such as management briefs, investment proposals, or similar analysis. Lead design and refinement of existing and new operating models across the company’s Singapore HQ and Asian offices. This could include capability analysis, process optimization, organisational design to improve operational effectiveness and consistency.
- Manage strategic initiatives independently by overseeing work plans, budgets, and external vendors where required; accountable for the overall planning, execution, and good governance of these initiatives.
- Implement internal governance, operational risk, and compliance controls as required by Macquarie portfolio companies.
- Coordinate management reporting to Board of Directors.
- Manage a wide range of stakeholders at Blueleaf Energy and Macquarie (e.g. engineering, investments, country teams, deal teams, Macquarie central functions) while conducting management reporting, strategy initiatives, and other projects.

**Your Skills**:

- Relevant master’s degree from a top-tier university (e.g. MBA, Master in Finance, MEng)
- At least seven years of experience in top strategy / management consulting company or in M&A / investment banking / transaction advisory environment, particularly working with management teams
- Experience working in the energy, power, utilities, industrial sector, with a good understanding of project life cycle from development, execution and to asset management.
- Collaborative team player able to manage stakeholders, however also an independent thinker not afraid to challenge the status quo
- Highly analytical and structured; able to solve complex issues
- Strong project manager with an ability to own initiatives end-to-end; proactively steps in to solve problems. Experience managing external vendors, possibly management consultants
- Proven ability to perform in high performance environments
- Ability to design, create, and deliver executive management presentations and reports
- Able and willing to travel on occasion across Asia from Singapore
- Business Proficient English is compulsory. Mandarin/ Bahasa/ Japanese language capabilities is an added advantage to communicate with local counterparts.
